The Yorkshire landscape is timeless. I will never tire of its rugged beauty and the impact of the ever changing weather on the scenery. I enjoy walking in the path of those that have gone before me; friends, family, strangers, tourists, locals. I'm sure that those people as well as people from generations ago will all have thought the same thing. 

An atmospheric painting inspired by the view over moorland to a big sky. Sometimes you can just feel the electricity in the air, as if time has been paused and you can feel something coming. I wanted to capture the sense of a storm passing and the light starting to break through, with wonderful light sitting behind the darker clouds.
