Collection: Louise Dwyer - Jewellery Artist

Louise Dwyer is an accomplished jeweller who enjoys working with a variety of metals  and jewels. In a career spanning twenty five years, after training with a local goldsmith  and obtaining her degree she has built a strong reputation for making beautiful, creative  work with a strong attention to detail and a high quality of finish.  

She lives in North Yorkshire and is inspired by the landscape of the Howardian Hills  where she works creating special one off pieces of handmade jewellery and ready-to-wear pieces. Louise can offer a bespoke service, where she can work closely with customers to deliver individual pieces by meeting clients to discuss any ideas. Louise designs her own distinctively elegant contemporary pieces, some of which are on  display and available to buy in the gallery. In her jewellery practice she uses sustainable  precious metals, reinventing and designing projects for clients to create unique jewellery pieces. Recently Louise has been developing her practice and encompassing local  history, natural history and stories project work.  

As a working jeweller she enjoys the processes using hand tools and selecting special  sustainable materials to make the jewellery or reusing customers stones in a unique way.  

Louise also offers repairs sometimes an old pieces of jewellery starts a new life by giving  it a designer jewellery contemporary twist or reusing gemstones and recycling metal to  create something new.
