Steve Page - Mr P Limestone Sculpture.

This sculpture title 'Mr P' , Is carved from a piece of limestone which was left over by the formidable Andrew Goldsworthy, and donated to Steve while he was training for his sculpting course. Shown with its alternative stone base but now set on a plinth of cherry wood.

The piece is made from offcuts of hard limestone that were from a pavement project that Andy Goldsworthy and his team were working on at Yorkshire Sculpture Park while Steve was on a stone carving course in 2016. Steve was encouraged by Andy to take anything they wanted from the waste bins, which would have otherwise gone to be crushed for hardcore.

this piece can be exhibited outdoors. Without the wooden base. Options available for a limestone plinth.
