Carole Ramsden Silver - Black Whitby tidal sand mini treasure box lapel pin

Carole has created a range of unique sustainable jewellery using both recycled sterling silver and repurposed, reclaimed and found items from beaches along the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. 

This pin is a hollow form sterling silver sealed locket, a mini treasure box featuring a mix of dark and light sand collected from Tate Hill beach in Whitby on an outgoing tide. The sand grains are visible, slightly magnified, through a clear glass cabochon window. The whole has been given a satin finish.

Approximate length 6cm including the pin protector. 

Handmade by Carole in her workshop in the North Yorkshire countryside.
