Carole has created a range of unique sustainable jewellery using both recycled sterling silver and repurposed, reclaimed and found items from beaches along the beautiful North Yorkshire coast.
This pendant looks like a polished cabochon but began as a shard of glass, found on a North Yorkshire beach, after being tumbled and worn by the sea. It was then melted at a high temperature into a shiny round nugget, set securely into a silver bezel which has been given a brushed satin finish and hung on a sterling silver fine curb chain.
