Carole Ramsden Silver - Staithes engineered brass and silver medium hoop earrings

Carole has created a range of unique sustainable jewellery using both recycled sterling silver and repurposed, reclaimed and found items from beaches along the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. 

These hand formed sterling silver hoop earrings feature pieces of brass rod found near the drying cobles on Seaton Garth above Staithes beach. After a good clean the rod was cut and shaped before being given a satin finish. The brass charms will require a gentle scrub now again with fine wire wool or emery paper to minimise the effects of oxidisation.
