Carole Ramsden Silver - Staithes engineered brass dot necklace

Carole has created a range of unique sustainable jewellery using both recycled sterling silver and repurposed, reclaimed and found items from beaches along the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. 

This pendant is crafted from a pieces of brass rod found near the drying cobles on Seaton Garth above Staithes beach. After a good clean the rod was cut and shaped before a bail was added, then finally given a satin finish. These pendants will require a gentle scrub now again with fine wire wool or emery paper to minimise the effects of oxidisation.

Hung on an 18"/45cm sterling silver belcher chain.
