Natalie Elderton - Large Straight Sided Bowl (020)

This collection of beautiful work in earth stone clay showcases a few of the techniques Natalie has developed to create both functional and sculptural pieces in her unique botanical influenced style.  The Gallery collection features both sgraffito, which involves carving into the clay prior to glazing and refiring and other pieces which, whilst the clay is still damp, have been impressed with fresh flowers and grasses and the oxides used before firing.

All Natalie's work is fired to 1210 degrees centigrade which renders it water tight, food safe and washable (although dishwashers are not recommended)

This large bowl is finished in a mallard green shiny glaze with a sgraffito agapanthus and poppyhead design. Dimensions 24cm x 9cm.
